We purchased an extended warranty from Route 66 on a used 2005 Acura TL.  In a short time after purchasing the vehicle, we experienced an oil leak that requires several parts to be replaced.  Route 66 is refusing to pay for the repair even though the items are listed as covered stating they do not cover pre-existing problems.  Well, when you purchase a used car, any problem you have is somewhat pre-existing, it's a used car which is the whole purpose of purchasing an extended warranty.

I had two conversation with the front line associate as well as a discussion with someone named Thomas - 1023 in the escalations department who would absolutely not support repair in any way continuing to state that since the issue didn't happen (in their estimation, no proof) since we bought the car, they don't cover "reconditioning" is the word they used.  In a nutshell, they don't cover anything wrong with the USED car before you bought it.  I paid nearly $1,800 for the warranty and am getting no service whatsoever.

Very dissapointed, would not recommend.
