Complaint Review: Rowntree Financial Solutions

My wife came to me about a loan from Rowntree Financial who said she was aproved for $15,000.  This came at a great time since we were behind on our bills.  Things seemed too good to be true so we started checking the company out.  The contract they sent looked strange and incomplete so we put things on hold.  A red flag went up when she said they wanted the collateral payment of $1,535.10 sent Western Union.  After plugging the company name into a search, I found this site and more red flags.  Seems our same "agent" Mr. Mark Spencer at ext. 641, was a name that was on another complaint.  I plan on calling back to find out if Western Union is the only option to send our collateral payment.  Only because I'm curious.  I've been caught before like this.  Western Union is the way most scams prefer you to pay.  It's tough to get that money back.  Electronic funds are normally the easiest to get back, but even then can be a pain once they have your bank info.  There are a few other names on this contract, so in case they switch the names, you'll know it's still a scam.  Mark Spencer, Ian March, and Randy Wagginton.  This company seems like a scam.  If so, I hope they get busted soon before anyone else gets ripped off.
