Roy Ahern the so called CEO of ERA marine, VersaDock is a conman that sold me a floating dock that does not perform as advertised. The company/ roy ahern does not honor the twenty year warranty. Roy efused to return my money and take back his product. I had to file civil action againt all of the above. Meanwhile Ahern was found guilty of violating the patent of another company and was charged a 15+ million judgement. Roy sold the assets of Versadock to his UK version VersadockLTD in attempt to hide the assets from creditors. Save your money not do business with this conman. Do not purchase Versadock floats they do not perform as advertised. If you do sue Versadock LTD they argue personal jurisdiction and again fail to honor the warranty.

This civil case against Roy Ahern and teo Leonard regarding the warranty fraud was tried May of 2014. The partners Ahern and Leonard were both found guilty of fraud and ordered to pay the original $35k back plus triple damages , interest, attorney fees, and jury fees approx $219k. After the judgment was signed and the appeal time expired Ahern filed for Bankruptcy protection. Fraud is not a dischargable item but Ahern is trying it anyway. Versa dock LTD of the UK settled out of court before the trial.
