Roy Mr Cameron Cook took our money and did not do the work as agreed to. Total rip off Tybee Island Georgia
We met Mr Cameron Cook at our property to get a bid on re Roofing a home we have. He gave us a quote and asked for a 50 % deposit which I am glad I did not give him. We did give him a $1,000 deposit however. He listed the date on the contract when the work would be completed. I never heard anything from him that he was not going to get the work done by that dSigned ate. He then promised another date a week later. Again no work was done and no phone call from him. I then texted him saying that we were cancelling our contract with his company and wanted our deposit back. He finally replied saying there would be a restocking fee and said he would call me. I have now called and texted him several times with no replies. it appears that he and his company with an address on the internet listed as 1415 Butler Ave, Tybee Island , Ga collect deposits and then do not do any work. I also have left numerous messages with the phone number in Georgia with no response. I see there have been other complaints listed on the Internet . I should have checked this company out before signing a contract. Hopefully they will return our deposit . Otherwise I will file legal action for sure.
