I bought an extended Titanium warrant from Royal Administration for my 2007 Cadillac SRX. I paid for several months and the rear door locks stopped working. Also, the washer stopped as well. I brought the car to the dealer on Thursday and gave him the warranty information. The dealer told me they diagnosed the problem and have faxed the information to the warraty company for approval. Seeing I bought the "Titanium" policy I have rental car reimbursement as well. As of Friday afternoon the warranty company had not responded and the dealer said he would have to wait until Monday.

Monday morning I received a call from the dealer and he said the warraty will only cover the 2 door locks, but not the diagnostics of why the locks didn't work. He also said they would not cover the washer because it is not a "mechanical" part. However, it is a safety isue if you can't see out the window. Then I was hit with the "shop fees" which they do not cover. Now, I was also informed that they only approved 1 day car rental.

When I called Royal Administration they confirmed the items they would not pay for because "It's in the contract". That is all the clown on the phone kept saying...."I understand sir, however it's in the contract that we are not responsible for the chrages"...He must have said that 15 times. When I got to the car rental issue, he said, "Well, I am sorry we didn't get back to the dealer before Friday and because we don't work Saturday or Sunday, you're responsible for the rental car." Again, this is what he kept saying over and over again. I asked for a manager, and have yet to hear from one.

Long story short, they lie and mislead you into thinking the warrant payss for everything when it doesn't. I had to pay $431.72 for $251.47 worth of work done to my car. It is a scam.

Stay away....I repeat, Stay away from this extended warranty. This is nothing but a rip off. They do not pay for "diagnostics"? How in the world can a mechanic know what to fix.
