I received multiple calls from a spoofed phone number, all the calls were using my first three numbers.  I decided to answer and it was this company. After going through and almost purchasing their warranty I decided to check online. I am glad I did, they have low ratings on the Consumer Affairs website and I chickened out. When I told the man I would be unable to make the $170 payment he suggested I pay $50. Well I told him I didn't have my cards with me he suddenly became rude. He started to tell me "Well when your car gives out you are going to pay more." I then told him I didn't have the money and if they could call me back tomorrow or something, "No, we are going to close your account today." I told him that I was unwilling to ask my coworkers for $50 and his response shocked me, "Well when your car needs repairs you are going to need to ask them for more money so you might as well just ask for the $50 now." Um...no thanks John and no need to get snippy with me!
