Royal Camera SCAM, SCAM, SCAM Times Sq NYC, New York
On a once-in-a-lifetime dream trip to NYC, my husband and I went to look at camera equipment at Royal Camera in Times Square. The people "seemed" nice enough and answered our questions. Two sales people began to bring out items of interest to us. We purchased a lens, a lens cover and an Aipteck projector. We were not in the market for a projector, but got very excited about the product. When we returned home, we looked up the companies that we had purchased the lens and projector and we overpaid by just under $3,000. How stupid are we? How sad are we? Please, do not make the same mistake that we made. I will never trust a vendor again!

I have heard many complaints over the years about online and even mail order New York camera company ripoffs.
Apparently they do the same thing in person at their stores.I hope people wanting camera equipment pay attention to your report.
Hopefully the rest of your New York trip was better and that this unfortunate experience didn't ruin it. There are lots of cool things to see and do there.
