I was aproached by telephone by person who called himself Mr. Carter. he said I had been approved for a Bank One credit card with a credit limit of 2500.00. as I had been looking for a card with a lower intrest rate, I was interested but became suspious and tried to call him back at his (ha ha ) private extension number he had given me to reassure me this was legit.

It couldn't be done. I made numerous calls ALWAYS being told it would be cancelled BUT it never was. The money was took out of our bank account, but we stopped payment on it. Before the money was returned to our account, I was again called by them, asking me if we had stopped payment on it and I TOLD them I had but it had not been returned to our account yet. It was a very unprofessional call with the indiviual asking me to hold on while he repeated what I was saying to another party.

The following day. I received a check for 296.00 in the mail. I cashed it just to be sure I didn't lose my money. Today I was called and threatened with collection companys if I didn't return "their" money immediately. I ask them to send me doucumentation of the product or service had purchased from them. It seems they aren't anxious to do that.I REFUSE to return the money until they do.... NOW THEY KNOW HOW WE FELT!!!!
