My husband and I purchased into a "vacation Club" at the Bavaro Princess Hotel in Punta Cana, DR.

We were sold based on a points system, but were also told that we could go to the Bavaro Princess, or the Ocean Blue, a 5* resort, anytime not using our points, and just pay the all-inclusive fee.

I have tried to book at the Ocean Blue, went around and around, numerous phone calls to RH, as well as to the Bavaro Princess, and res. dept at Ocean Blue. I have been hung up on, as well as told they no longer have the ocean blue in thier program, and too bad- nothing they would or could do about it.

I was sent a nasty e-mail stating that it was in my contract, that RH could delete any resort at any time and that "It was a promotion at the time of purchase" to be able to go to ocean blue. I believe that Ocean Blue Hotel was never in thier program, it has not ever been in the RH hotel guide.

We purchased based on the fact we could go to this better hotel, with the brand new beautiful suites.

I have stamped paperwork stating we have unlimited reservation at either of these two hotels.

I was informed by e-mail from RH that this paperwork was not part of the contract, and on line seven in the contract, it says "the club will not recognize as binding other verbal or written agreements other than the the above referred documents."

To me this is fraud. We are ready to do anything we can to get out of this company. They are sleazy and underhanded.

ps: I do have a timeshare that has been great, and never a problem like this!

I do not think there is another report on this site, but I know there are many other complaints online, and a piece was done on 20/20 in april about how awful this company is.
