Wow it looks like I should've read this site before I signed the contract for the set. I signed a contract for the full line of cookware products, ballpark figure of $4300. At the show that I saw Debbie O'Connell and her husband Roger, I asked several question. My main question was that I have a gas stove and all of my pots and pans seem to burn from the excessive heat, will this product?? I was told OUR products will not burn!! We had just built a new house and I was very excited to purchase these MIRACLE cookware that i didn't have to worry about burning. My husband and I talked about it and decided it would be nice to have with the new house.

I wanted to do the lay-a-way option and after about 30 minutes of talking to me she talked me into doing small monthly payments on my credit card. We signed the contract on 9/12/05 and on 9/14/05 $706.81 was charged to my credit card. Sometime in mid to late October I got my first shipment. Out of all of the pots and pans and stuff that I ordered I got a 7 piece baker set(2 cookie sheets, 2 pie crust things, and 3 other useless items, and griddle.) The first thing I used was one of the cookie sheets, the first time in the oven it warped. A few days later I used the round griddle, the cooking surface is completely burnt.

Needless to say I didn't try to use anything else, I was and still am very unhappy. The first of November I received another box from Royal Prestige, it sat unopened in my kitchen until the corporate office called me in late November about it. It seems they sent me the same items by accident. I didn't know, I never opened the box. I let them send a call tag to pick up the items and left it on my front porch for UPS. Shortly after this I got a VERY nasty phone call from the distributor Debbie that they couldn't charge my card and wanted to know why, I let her know that I made it so my card could not be charged at this time. She was very nasty threatening to sue me for breach of contract without finding out WHY!!

After several conversations they said they would replace all of my item free of charge and upgrade me to the commercial brand everything, but tell anyone! In my opinion that is not what I paid for and if everytime I use the item that I paid for it's going to burn and I'm going to have to pay for postage to have it replaced that I should be able to cancel for them promoting their product falsely. I also was told all the horror stories about how my current cookware is hazardous to mine and my families health. I offered to send all of the items back to them and just write it off as something that didn't work and she refused that option. I am under contract and that is not an option. How can you not have the option to cancel a product after you have actually tried it and it is NO GOOD!!

I just got another call from Debbie and she is going to the courthouse to file a suit against me tomorrow afternoon if she can't charge my credit card by tomorrow morning. If they don't have my social security number how can they report to your credit and things?? I guess she'll just have to do what she has to do while I do what I have to do.

I noticed that you did not mention that yor read the instructions. I have a set of muliti layered SS cook set and the instructions were clear, they must be treated before use, then used in a very spefice way to insure no burning or warping. RP cookware is quality cookware and will stand the test of time IF the directions are followed to the letter each and every time. I do not work for RP or Hy Cite but I am in the MLM business and I know that multi-layer SS cookware has a certain way it has to be treated and used and cleaned each and every time. You stated you pulled it out of the box, ploped on your cooking items and poped it in the oven, taken the time to go over the booklet you would have realized before applying heat it has to be treated. There is no way to tell everything in a demo, thats why manuals are included in the box. To spend 4,000+ on someting and not read the manual is npt to wise. Would you spend $15,000 on a car and not read the manual?
