On April 2, 2003 I purchased $2069.00 worth of glassware, casual china, silverware and crystal from a Royal Prestige sales rep. I was assured with utmost cofidence in Ulises and Guadalupe Reyna's voice that my entire purchase would be of excellent quality. I had previously heared many wondeful things from this company by word of mouth so blindly I fell for the whole spill.

Yesterday, Wednesday, April 30, 2003 I received my items via UPS Ground Mail Service. I was very exited. I open the box and my smile turned to a frown after opening the first box of glassware. One was broken. As I continued to open the rest of the items... my frown almost became to tears. All the spoons that came with the silveware are not well formed/shaped. On have is a smooth cut the other is a rough wave like cut.

The 6 piece gourmet set I ordered ( sausepans and tops) also had a flaw. They have black streaks across the top. And futhermore, the casual china is awful. It's almost like plastic and all the plates at the bottom are not finished properly and sticky.

Today, Thursday May 1, 2003 I called the sales person and he indicated that it was done deal and that it was company policy that there was no returns and/or cancellations.

I then called the Royal Prestige 1-800-279-3373 and was told differently. I was told the customer service rep. (in english) that the sales person had the last word for cancellations and / or exchange, due to: The items had just been delived and there was been no wear/usage of items. After hanging up with royal prestige I recalled them again at 1-800-279-3373 this time I talked to a customer representative (in spanish) that re-eterated the same information however, she was much more reluntant to answer any further questions and told me to deal with my sales rep.

I have set-up an appointment to talk to the gentleman and lady that sold me royal prestige items but I have been forwarned that they will only look at the items but that any actions is out of their hands per company policy. I need help.

What am I to do with a negative responce from the sales rep and no assistance from the company.
