I purchased a 2006 Chevy Pickup 4X4 truck from Chapman Chevrolet-Isuzu in Tempe Arizona. On this truck I ordered a bumper and spare tire lock keyed to the ignition key of the truck. I also ordered a service bed instead of a pick up bed. The service bed came from the Royal Truck Bed company. This truck was purchased on 5/20/2006.

I did not get the bumper or the lock.

The service bed I purchased was delivered with the wrong top. It was taken back to Royal Truck bed company and the correct top was put on. The trouble is when Royal Truck bed company replaced the top they put an additional 50 holes into the bed of the truck body. That means any time it rains or I have the truck washed every item in the boxes of the service bed is drenched in water and starts rusting. Damaging any tool or item that is not water resistant. This has caused a lot of damage to my tools I store in the truck beds service boxes.

I have contacted the President of Royal Truck Bed and nothing has been done. It has been over six months and nothing from this disgusting company to correct this company's screw up.

Royal Truck Body prides itself in providing excellent customer service and quality for almost 40 years. We have an excellent reputation so to hear of this allegation is very concerning. I work in the Phoenix office and have done business with Chapman Isuzu Commercial Fleet department for years. Chapman is also a excellent family owned dealership that cares about its customers. Most the fleet salesman have been their for years by treating their customer with respect and quality service.

It obviously is not our common practice to drill holes in a perfectly good utility body. I welcome the opportunity to inspect the body in question and assist in repairing the unit. Their is obviously some miscommunication that occurred but we stand behind out product and service and would be glad to help.

Please contact me at anytime to address your issue.

Sincerely,
Matt Williams
