I discontinued service with Sprint/PCS in the middle of July 2005. On Feburary 27th 2006 my mother recieved a call from a collection agency called RPM.

This agency said that I had a bill with sprint that I had not paid in the past 3 months. They had told my mother that if she did not pay the bill they were going to make a report to my credit. Hearing this she instictively paid the bill of $198.96 and a service charge of $5.00.

After making the payment she send me a email informing me of what had happen. I then told her that I have no bill with Sprint and I will check into it.

When I contacted Sprint they had told me that a mess up had happen and that on Feburary 22nd 2006 they had made a adjustment and that I no longer had a bill with them. I have not had any idea of this until today when I recieved the email from my mother.

I had asked Sprint to send me a confirmation for my records. After reading other posts on here about Sprint and RPM, I have decided to allow the payment to go through for the only reason that I do not want my parents to deal with the agency calling all the time.

I have tried contacting the agency but all that ever happens when I call is I just listen to the phone ring. So far I have not been able to contact the company. When I do finally get through I am going to ask them to contact Sprint and then return the payment. I will make a post at a later date to inforom you what has happen.

The moral of the story is that nobody should ever go through Sprint.
