Complaint Review: RPM Outlets

I ordered a ford flash tuner from RPM outlets on Friday, May 31, 2008. I realized that within 5 minutes, I did not need the part. I called immediately and spoke to the salesman "Tony". Tony told me that the part had already been shipped and send it back through their automated system and I would be reimbursed in full. I did as Tony requested. The part was $375.00 and they refunded $233.00 and took the rest for restocking fees. I believe that their salesman knew this would happen and shipped the part anyway, which is dishonest and bad business practice.

I spoke to a gentleman named George today and he would only offer me a credit for the rest and nothing more.

I have filed 3 complaints with the better business bureau and George thought this was funny and he even resorted to swearing at me while he denied it. My advice would be to stay away from these rip off artists.
