In October of 2008, I submitted an order with RPMOutlet for a pair of heads for my truck and waited. i didn't expect them to arrive right away because of the size and weight. After 2 weeks i called to get a status update and at that time i was informed that they had not shipped but they were expecting them to come in the next shipment (which was just a few days away) and they would be then shipped to me a couple of days after that. so i waited another 2 weeks and called and got a similar story, so again i waited. After calling and getting this similar story over and over about every 2 weeks i finally decided on January 23th, 2009 that i wanted my money back. i called to let them know and they told me i would have to go online and fill out a return form (even though i had never received anyting from them) and then they would process my return. i did fill out the form and again waited to hear anything from them. After a week or so i called to get a status of my return. I was then told by the rep. (after being on hold 2 differant times for 10 and 15 minutes) that i had not filled out the form yet. Knowing this was incorrect, I would not get off the phone and insisted that i had and even went so for as to copy their own web site screen to email to her showing that i had a return number and the date submitted (which incorrectly showed January 27th 2009). At this time the cutomer service rep. told me that it was being processed by an online company and could take up to 30 days. Well its been past 30 days and as usual i have not heard anything from RPMOutlet. This is the worst customer service i have ever been subjected to, i am just trying to get my money back and i really don't think they should have even charged my credit card until they were able to ship the product. I believe this was a scam and that my money went to pay the light bill and that they are on thier way out of business and i will never see my refund. And by the way, thier rebutals look like a "copy and pasted" statement that was written by the owner to try and minimize the damage from true customer experieces like this. The thing is for every 1 you see here, you know there are a lot that haven't written anything---yet anyway

update: still won't refund my money

This "company" has basically stolen $1000 from me. They took money out of my account knowing they did not have the parts in stock and will not give me MY money back. They have no customer service, when I call now to get a status of my refund I get a low-life response like the person that handles refunds called in sick....what a coincidence, every time I call?!?!? It's now going on 3 months since I started their "refund process". I really believe this place should be investigated for criminal activity. I also filed a complaint with the BBB in Houston and the response they provided back to me was for another victim that had complaint against them. They couldn't even get the name right with the complaint emailed to them. Was this on purpose? They are either crooks or completely incompetent, either way it's bad for their customers/victims
