Complaint Review: RPR Ramada Plaza Resorts Orlando /FT. Lauderdale Vacations

I received a 'voucher' in the mail today from Ramada Plaza Resorts for a credit of $1600 on a vacation--- 4 days 3 nights in Ramada Plaza Hotel, 2 days and 2 nights on Imperial Majesty Cruise (voucher says Imperial Majesty or Carnival Cruise lines), plus 3 days and 2 nights in Orlando Florida at the Ramada's 1000th Resort (at the 'gates of disney' they said). I stupidly gave them my credit card, and they charged me $698 *already*! (I gave the card # 6 hours ago!)

I came online to look up pictures of the resorts, and I didn't find the resorts (there is NOTHING listed for a Ramada's 1000th resort!), but I did find this site and have read all the horrible experiences people are having!

I immediately tried to call the 800 number I was given, the line is closed for the night. I called my credit card compoany and found out I have been charged already. I am going to do everything I can to get a refund! I am a single mother, 25 yrs old, going to college right now. I can't afford this!

I feel so stupid... but I am glad to see that I'm not the only one who made a mistake. I even called my dad earlier today to tell him about this great vacation deal I got and he says "its a scam", I didn't believe him because of the name "Ramada". I thought Ramada was a legit company!!
