I found a car on cars for sale.com- It was a 74 bronco- Come to find out the vehicle was in Italy- Anton Battista is the owner- He said that Italy has come out with a new import tax for foreign vehicles- $1800  So he wanted to sell the vehicle to someone back in the states- Ive been talking to him for the last month in emails, and on the phone once- He said he found a logistics company called RUA logistics- They demanded half the cost of the vehicle as a good faith deposit and the remaing 50% when the vehicle would show up on my doorstep- I would then have two days to inspect it before wiring them the remaing 50%- I at that point wired them $6250.00- To a Barclays Bank PLC  Bank address: 306 THE GAtehouse, Leeds Road Bradford, West Yorkshire BD1 5BL United Kingdom                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               I was then contacted by Rua Logistics asking for the remaining balance becuase they said that they now needed full payment for the vehicle before the Us customs would allow them to ship the vehicle, from Florida to Tacoma Wa- Because the shipping company is acting as the go between, as power of attorney for the title transfer- And Anton would not be their- Thats when I said thats where I draw the line- Your not getting another penny from me until that 74 bronco is sitting in my front yard- I then got a text message from Anton, stating that the vehicle has been shipped, and is on its way to i think it was Port Everglades Florida-                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    The arrival date for container shipment is October 10th- So now they said when it arrives in Florida, I would have to pay the remaing balance, before it could be shipped from Florida to Tacoma Wa- And that it would arrive on the Oct 17th between 8am and 2pm- So I`m expecting to hear from them on the 10th asking for another $6250.00- I can`t get a hold of RUA logistics- By phone or Email checking on the status of my shipment-

I really don`t know what to do now- Feeling like Iv`e been played-

YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FRIEGHT FORWARDER (RUA LOGISTICS) IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME.  I AM OUT 7500.00...   THE AMAZING THING IS HOW ELEBORATE THE SCAM IS.  THE WEB PAGE AND INTERACTION WITH RUA LOGISTICS SEEMS VERY LEGITIMATE AND THE BANK DEALINGS ALSO SEEMED VERY PROFESSIONAL.  THE SELLER AND THE COMPANY MUST BE SCAMMIMG PEOPLE IN CONFLUENCE WITH EACH OTHER. I HAVE VIEWED THE RUA LOGISTIC TRUCKS ON THE ROAD IN THE USA, NEVER THOUGHT THIS COULD TAKE PLACE WITH SUCH AN IMPRESSIVE FRONT. I AM NOT SURE WHERE TO TURN FOR HELP BUT I AM PISSED.   THE LOCAL IN COUNTRY CELL NUMBER USED BY THE SELLER WAS 6124704192. AND THE INTERNATIONAL NUMBER FOR RUA LOGISTICS WAS 441614804930.  THE INTERNATIONAL NUMBER WAS ANSWERED BY RUA EMPLOYEES AND THEY SENT ME ALL HE DOCUMENTATION  FOR THE TRANSFER.  I DEALT WITH THEM 4 TIMES, AND NOW THEY DO NOT RECEIVE CALLS AT ALL ON THAT LINE.  WHAT A SIN.

I´m sure he was not Mr. Battista. Tried to contact the real Battista trough facebook, but no reply.

All the "family" pictures he sent me by mail, was all pictures availabale by google search and on Battista´s open facebook account.

He claimed he was an Italien, but his wife was US citizen. Unable to verify that.

By googling the pictures of the car he sent me, I found the same pictures on an expired ebay ad. Then for sale at more than doubble the price "Battista" wanted.

Also, in my case he said it will cost USD 18.000 to register the car in Italy, but even after paying that amount it still would have been USD20.000 below actual selling value.

He even sent me a fake Title report stated he was the owner of the car.

Further more by google-search pictures on rualogistic.com I found most of the pictures there on other real web-sites, but it was cleverly made sites, and easy to be fooled.

Came over a 2016 Tesla Model X at USD38500 on carforsale.com. Contacted the seller, and he said he was in Italy, and it was to expensive registrating the car there. We agreed on me buying the car, and the price was including shipping to Norway. In severale mails with mr. Battista he claimed I was not suppose to pay anything before I received the car. But after a coupple of days, I was contacted by RuaLogistic stating that they wanted a deposit of USD7000, before shipping the car.

After several of hours googling I found out that Mr. Battista claimed to be this person: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Battista also the pictures in his e-mail stated that. Also found out that Rualogistic.com, had the same webpage as lotfreight.com and internationalandglobal.com and none of these companies were for real. Domains in USA, main office in London and bank in Croatia....???? Luckily I was capable of googling both seller anf freight company so that I did not pay them anything.

Be aware, if something is too good to bee true, it usually is.
