The following information states that Mr. Norris was arrested and held in Clackamas County Jail for felony perscription fraud.
"11/20/09 8:36 p.m. Billy Joe Norris, 29, was lodged at Clackamas County Jail on suspicion of attempting to pass a forged prescription at a super market pharmacy."
Billly Norris would go on to be convicted of this crime, a felony.

I find it hard to imagine that such a place would not consider doing a thorough interview / background checks on its employees who do work daily by providing intimate care to its public customers.
RUMI SIMONE SPA....Please elevate your hiring standards and not place your reputation and the well being of your clients, in the hands of currnet employees who have active arrest warrants. This particular Esthetician even has problematic chemical dependency issues that manifest into felony acts of prescription fraud.
As for myself, I can honestly say that I could never send my significant other to a place where a well documented yet still employed
criminal/felon like Esthetician Billy Joe Norris would dare be in the same room as my loved ones...Would You?

Last night I did a google search for Rumi Simone to get the phone number for my favorite spa. I was shocked when this website came up, and had to read the report. What I read upset me terribly.
I have been a loyal customer/client of Rumi Simone for about the last three years, and have had nothing but positive experiences at the spa. I believe the person who wrote the review of Rumi Simone and Billy as a "concerned customer" has never visited the spa. If this "concerned customer" had, he or she would know that Billy has not worked there for over a year and half, and indeed, left Lake Oswego long before the so-called "police blotter" report was published.
While Billy was employed at Rumi, I was a frequent client of his. He is a wonderful esthetician, one of the best I've ever had. I have never seen him behave in any way except with the utmost professionalism. I even trusted him to give my young daughter her first facial, which she enjoyed immensly. I was disappointed when I was informed that he was leaving Rumi Simone and Lake Oswego over a year ago, but I understood when I heard the reason (I was told his wife had to move for school or work reasons).
I think its sad that someone (obviously an enemy of Billy's) took the time to post lies about the wonderful spa Rumi Simone and its former employee Billy. I find it hard to believe the police information posted was even real or about the Billy that I knew. Besides, information like that isn't really relevant to someone's abilities as an esthetician. Its sad that this false information is allowed to exist so prominently about an upstanding local business from my hometown, Lake Oswego. I am absolutely sure that any REAL customer of Rumi Simone would agree with me 100% about its current and former employees.
There are so many businesses and people in the world trying to scam people, this website should be used to provide information to concerned consumers about them. It should not be used for attacks against people and businesses done for personal reasons. I encourage anyone who is concerned about Rumi Simone to visit and see that not only does Billy not work there and hasn't for a long time, but anyone who remembers him will have nothing but kind things to say about him as a person and an esthetician. If the person who posted the report were really a concerned customer, why would their psuedonym for the website be "HauntingU"? That really does confirm my suspicions--this was purely a personal attack and had nothing to do with business or consumer "rip-off" as it is supposed to be per the purpose of this website.
