My Daughter got locked out of the house while we were at work.  She tried to pick the deadbolt lock with a nail, which broke in the lock.


My husband and 2 kids were locked outside the house.  I called the number provided on the internet which said there would be a service fee of only $19.  The response time was suppose to be no more than 15 minutes.


45 minutes later a man who my husband described as a "member of the Russian Mafia" went to work on our fron door. 


This was a fairly new door and lockset, made of brushed nickel and very secure.  After over and hour passed my family was able to get into the house.  The tech tried to sell my husband $200+ lockset, but he opted for a cheaper one.


When I got home and saw the bill I flipped.  Not only was the tech at least 1/2hr later than the expected 15 minutes, he charged a $60 service fee.  He scraped up my new door and left metal shavings all over from drilling out the deadbolt.  He replaced my brushed nickel $150 lockset with a $30 cheapo brass deadlock, which was poorly installed and wobbled in the door.  And the worst part was, the bill was $450.  When I had the door and lock installed it was less than that, and a quality installation.


I called the locksmiths number this am and was told the manager would get back to me.  I am disputing the charges on my chargecard and will be surprised if the manager calls me on Thursday as I was told he would.  I am totally disgusted ansd feel violated and ripped off.  DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
