Complaint Review: RushCard - UniFinancial Services

I will keep it short and sweet...

Got the card so I would not have to carry cash around.

Reserved a hotel room and went to go pay for it ($550.00), card was declined 7 times.

Called customer service, confirmed that I had more than enough funds and also said that there were no attempts on the card.

I go to the ATM in the lobby and was able to take all my money out.

It was so embarassing for me to have my card declined by the hotel, they looked at me like I was crazy. When I came back with the cash to pay for the room, they do not accept cash because of insurance issues. Had to sleep in the airport for two days until my flight left. I will never ever ever use this card again, turned out to be a nightmare to use it. Please take this as a warning and try and get a secured credit card from a real bank.
