I have filed a civil case against Rustic/ Chase South for breech of contract, deceptive sales, and theft of services not rendered. I paid almost 6 grand to have a fence installed 4 years ago.They promised they already got the permit approved and filed with the city. Last week code enforcement came and said there is no permit and to tear it down.I called Chase and he assured me they had it and faxed it to the city.City manager called me and said they had only applied for a permit and the fence still needs to come down. They breached the contract, theft of service, and sold it to me under false pretenses
I already have the city manager and supervisors that can attest to the fact that they only recently filed for an application. I will have to tear my fence down and have another company put a new one up. Even if the permit gets granted, I want a refund for having to go through all of this and losing work trying to get the truth out of Rustic, which I never got. All I got was lies about how they had already filed. Sarah South said she would call me back when she found the permit, that was last week. She never called because there is no permit.
I am ready to go viral with this and expose the deceptive practices all over any social network. I then decided that people need to know about the deceptive practices so they are not in the same situation. I had decided to hold off on that because I would like to get this solved peacefully, but I have already filed a suit, which can be dropped if an agreement can be reached. If not, I am going for the full amount, plus the three estimates I have from other fence contractors to make up the difference.

They have sunk to an even deeper level of being pathetic. After taking am onth to respond to my BBB complaint about them lying about have a permit for the fence, this is the response they sent to BBB.

Dear Mr. Glover:
As you know Rustic Fence has an outstanding reputation in the community. Our
record with the BBB speaks for itself. However, in our fast paced society, things can get
overlooked at times. While it is true thata building permit was not obtained prior to the
fence being erected, the fence permit has now been obtained and approved by the City of
Grand Prarie Building inspections. Rustic Fence makes a practice of obtaining fence
permits prior to installation. It is, however, the responsibility of the home or business
owner to research and understand their own restrictive covenants and or deed restictions.
Rustic Fence assumes no liability for a customer who violates restrictive covenants or
deed restrictions. Additionally, Grand Prarie building inspections do not deny or grant
authority to homeowners to build a fence when it comes to a restrictive covenant or deed
restriction. Therefore, had the permit been obtained prior to erecting the fence, the city
would have still issued the permit, the fence still would have been built and I would still
be writing this letter in our defense.
Rustic Fence suspects that Ms. ******** is running a business from her residence
and is now therefore in violation of some deed restriction or restrictive covenant.
I tied to work with Ms. ******** on the underlying issue. I was met with nothing
but contempt and threats of a lawsuit. Ms. ******** was rude and unwilling to give me the
opportunity to research the problem and come up with a solution. Rather, she gave me a
list of demands and announced that she would go through with a lawsuit that had already
been filed if her demands were not met.

I have never run my own business, nor care to. This is their feeble attempt at trying to defame me. Even if it was true, what the hell does that have to do with them lying and not doing their jobs? Nothing. I work full time and have since I was 14, I dont have time to have my own business. New low for a worthless scamming company
