I purchased a refurbished cooloing unit in late November 2013 and gave my checking acct. info to the lady that took my order. The shipping was not bad, took about ten days and I installed the unit and seems to work fine as of now.

I received a receipt in the mail for my purchase of $455 about 4 days later and the I received another receipt for the same amount. My acct was charged for another $455 that I did not authorize and a few items that were pending inclding my rent check did not clear and I was charged insufficent fund fees.

I called all the numbers on the website and left messages because noone would answer and even left an email and did not get a response. When I did get ahold of somebody and explained the situation I was told(which I beleive it was Jerry Collins who was acting like it wasn't him) they had a computer glitch and some people were charged more than once and they thought they had caught it before the charges went out. Luckly my bank credited me back the $455 with some but not all the NSF fees. The person gave me a fax number to fax over the NSF fees and I would be reimbursed for two $29 and one $12 NSF fee and Jerry would call me back. I sent the papererwork and waited a few days and heard nothing, no call back or email.

I have been inconvieced for what should have been a simple transaction and had to get money orders for my rent because my check did not clear and I have spoken with that same man twice after and claims Jerry is always out of the office and in the second call I was told that he could authorize the amounts for the NSF fees and would send me a check that day, which was the first week of January 2014.

Today is 1 Feb and still no check. I should not have to pay fees for their mistake and I wish I would have read the ripoff report before I used them, it seems they are in the habit of keeping peoples money and I advise others to check other places for cooling units, they may be alittle more expensive, but you wouldn't have to deal with RVIcebox's and Jerry Collins bad business practices.
