Complaint Review: RVTL Skin Care.

RVTL Skin Care. Phoenix Labs Inc. In August 2013 I ordered a free sample of skin creme. It arrived several days later in a box with no postcard, letter, or way to reach the company. I did agree to pay postage and handling of $4.95. I thought I would have 14 days to try the skin creme out before ordering more. I also assumed there would be a follow-up letter or correspondence or even a bill or email. None came. I did receive a phone call from my credit card company saying they froze my account due to what they thought was fraudulent activity.  Palmdale California

I finally got back to the credit card co. and I found out that RVTL charged not only the shipping fees but charged an additional $93 on my account before the 14 day trial was completed. Most reputable companies include a phone number or address in their free sample box so that if you wish to order more or accept future charges, you may choose to do so. Do not order from this company. Today I shut down my credit card altogether so that their obvious attempts to charge for even more would not go through. So far, nothing more has come in the mail, but if it does at least now I have an address to send it back to. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I subsequently found out via another site that they had thousands of customers complaining about the same activity with this company.

In August 2013, I ordered a free sample of skin creme via RVTL Skin Care products from their website. I agreed to pay the shipping charges ($4.95). This was to be a free sample, and I had 14 days to decide on future orders. I did receive the free sample, however a charge of $93 was deducted from my account before the 14 days were up. The sample came in a small box with no attending information, no company name, no address, no phone number, no bill, and no explanation of terms. Absolutely no way to contact the company. I did not know that passed the 14 day limit, with no contact from the company (no phone call, no email) I would be automatically charged, I assumed all was fine until I began receiving phone calls from my credit card company who had decided to freeze my account due to fraudulent attempts to charge my card. So apparently this same company tried to charge me again.

Thank goodness there is a small limit on that card. And thank goodness the credit card company acted quickly. I subsequently closed the credit card altogether. And yes, I did attempt to dispute the charge, I called RVTL's 800 number and could not understand the individual on the phone. I finally found their address on their website and filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. I also noticed that on Scambook, there are hundreds of similar claims against this company. This company is also known as Phoenix Labs in Palmdale, California. Do not do business with this company.

I bought this product just like the person above did.Like the person above I didnt really see the cancel before 14 days notice. I also got charged on my account 93 and 99 dollars. I called up and the agent sent me the link showing the legalese that I AGREED to. I told him that although i liked the one product I would not pay 99 dollars for it. He gave me a discounted price of 39.00 which is quite reasonable for this product as it is working .the other product i did not like as well and he gave me a credit of 30.00 towards it and cancelled my acct. That was more than fair and a good way to do business. I will not hesitate to continue using this company.
