Complaint Review: RYAN HOMES

16 months after moving into our new homes the master bathroom ceiling begins leaking water everytime it rains. My father used to always tell me you get what you pay for, well that phrase I guess didn't filter down to the folks that built my house! I honestly never expected to pay $400,000 for a house and little over a year later be repairing a roof. Anyway, after calling ryan several times they tell me the standard line that the warranty has expired, and I'll have to come out of pocket from here on out! The only thing I got for my money is shotty workmanship and bad customer service. The only bright spot if there can be one is when it rains at least the water leaks into the bath tub instead of on the floor.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the roofing contractor they list in the home manual has apparently disappeared from the face of the earth!
