In June of 2010, refinance current mortgage with Wells Fargo. One month later received a phone call on a phone line that was not even associated with the mortgage that I was a valued customer and I had one 2.5 million dollars. All I had to do was send Ryan Lewis in Montego Bay Jamaica, $850 via Western Uninon. Right there I felt something wrong. I called Wells Fargo directly and they confirmed it was a scam.
I have several concerns:
1st - how did they get a phone number that was not even associated with the loan
2nd - is wells fargo even protecting my information
3rd - do I have any recourse
