Ryder Homes of California Did not disclose that the city of Sonoma would not allow parking on streets within Willows Wild subdivision Walnut Creek, California
Ryder homes of California developed 14 residential homes in Sonoma California called Willows Wild. All buyers were told and undrstood that they could park on the two private steets in the development. After all homes were sold and ocuupied the city of Sonoma required and instructed Ryder Homes to post non parking signs on both streets removing all guest parking in the development. The City has sent copies of planning commision documents sent to Ryder which clearly state that no parking shall be allowed on the streets and they were required to meet California state fire code which does not allow parking on streets as narrow as our streets. Ryder did not disclose any of this information to the buyers. In fact, the CC&R's which are a part of our sales document discuss the use of parking on the streets.
