I also received a letter from this company that stated that I owed money to Loan Shop Online in the amount of $1,329 back from 2012.  Of course I paid off a loan that I had with them back in 2012.  So I know that this is fraudulent.  The letter is also offering an opportunity to enroll in an affordable discounted repayment plan to resolve the outstanding balance and that enrolling in this program will avoid further civil action from taking place against me and will stop future negative reporting to my credit.  Of course such is not on my credit report.  The letter asked that I call 866-408-3383 to avoid further action from taking place against me.  It also stated that if this matter is not resolved, they reserve the right to commence legal proceedings to recover the outstanding balance without further notice to me.
