I was contacted on line through email about being a representitive for S.Dawes Weaving LTD.They needed Representatives in the states they said to help them. I was first contacted by Chris Catlow who claimed to be the manager of the company, then contacted by Pamela Joey assistant Manager who was main contact. She emailed me that when I receive checks from the customer I am to deposit the check and keep 10% and wire the rest minus any fees from western union. My first check was Fraudlent and the bank kept it. I emailed Ms. Joey and she emailed me back claiming that the issue had been resolved and that all customers and workers were insured and that I had nothing to worry about. I recieved my second check for the amount of 1385.15 from client Jimmy cheng. Ms. Joey emailed me the UPS routing # and and told me where to wire the money. I kept the $138 and wired the rest minus fees from western union as directed. Now My bank accounts are being closed because the check deposited was a bad check and Ms. Joey has her money. She has failed to contact me any further.

my name is chris catlow . i am the production manager at s dawes weaving ltd and have been for approx 10 / 11 years . not once in this time have i or anybody else associated with s dawes ever asked by email or by other means to advertise for somebody to handle our 'overseas accounts '. we do not have any overseas accounts and we manufacture our products to uk based companys.
i recieved emails from quite a few people last year responding to an email that i had supposedly sent advertising for people to handle our overseas accounts. i responded to a few of these emails stating that a fraudulant advertisement using me as a contact was circulating on the web and that people were not to respond to this. the replys i sent were being intercepted by the crooks involved and then being changed asking for further info from the recipitent ie bank details etc. this generated more emails to me from some people who were not happy at the emails they recieved . these were not sent by me !
AFTER RECIEVING SOME REPLYS FROM PEOPLE WANTING THIS POSITION AND SOME OR THE CONTENT,I CONTACTED THE POLICE FRAUD SQUAD AND ASKED THEM TO LOOK INTO THIS.
unfortunately one person named mechell thought that this was an opportunity to good to miss , to recieve a cheque for any amount and take 10% for yourself seemed to blind her and the thought of easy $$$ was something she couldnt refuse . how stupid some people are ! and to get involved with people on the internet they have never met and not only that give out there bank details. these people are asking for trouble.
i would be grateful for the email posted about s dawes weaving be removed from the web page it is on because it could damage the future of our business because of other peoples greed in making easy cash for doing nothing .
i have never heard of a pamela joey and nor do i have an assistant and i do not know of any chinese person mentioned in the previous email .
