S&J Auto Parts, Findpart, Executive Limousine sent wrong part, promised to refund for FOUR MONTHS but never did Ripoff Saratoga New York
I purchased a CD player for my Mazda for $148.50. Two weeks later, I received a cassette player, not the CD player I had ordered. Also, the cassette player was missing two parts that should have been there (it was the same part my car already had) and was carelessly wrapped with a torn up shopping bad and filthy.
I called their customer service line (yes, a toll number!) and they gave me a return address to ship it to. It turned out they NEVER had the part I wanted, and said they would refund my money, but they never did. Over the next four months I have been calling them and every time they say there was a mistake and it will be fixed immediately, but they haven't. Most of the time I called, they didn't even answer, and this was during normal business hours! I still have not resolved this issue with them.
This company has no respect for their customers, nor any attentiont to detail, and they take your money before they even know they have the part you need. Given from the condition of the incorrect part I DID receive, I would not expect that the correct part would have arrived as described either.
My fellow consumers-- there are many auto parts brokers out there. There's no reason to risk going through all this when you don't have to.

Finally Received Credit After Four Months of Waiting
#2Author of original report
Thu, November 10, 2005
In November, I finally received credit for a return I sent in May. This company was not worth the trouble. Their customer service is terrible, most of the time they don't even answer the phone, and they will never get my business again. Learn from my mistake and save yourself a lot of aggrivation. Avoid this company like the plague. They'll happily lie to you and take your money whether or not they have the part you're looking for, and they will not treat you like a valued customer.
