Complaint Review: S&J Used Auto Parts

S&J Used Auto Parts won't refund for auto part, S&J doesn't carry part, also charged shipping, it's been 6 months, S&J Co. is blocking our phone calls ripoff Saratoga Springs New York

We needed an engine for our 1992 mazda 323. S&J used autoparts had an engine for $275 plus $150 shipping. This was a very competitive price so we purchased said Item from S&J via the phone with our debit card. Our account was debited for $528, over $100 MORE than quoted price.

Two months later, said part still hadn't arrived. Upon inquiry to (518)583-4125 (service department phone number) S&J isn't even in possesion of such part. I asked for a refund. They said it would take two weeks to refund our account.

It is six months after the initial withdrawal from our account, we have repetitively called for a refund being told the same thing EVERY time. We are now under the impression that S&J has filed for bankruptcy. Our calls are being blocked so we have no way of retrieving our money.

PLEASE if anyone knows anything about this, and has information that can help us, please contact us! we have twin babies, and are barely making ends meet as it is and risk losing our house over this (we had to buy a car because of the engine that was not sent).
