S & M NuTec ripoff Almost killed my pet and 55 others North Kansas City Missouri
December 26th,I was given a packet of Greenies for my dog by an old friend as a x-mas present for my dog Vanny.Vanny became very ill almost immediatley. I took her to the vet the following day,who suggested x-rays(still have),and blood work. Upon completion of these tests( approx 300.00) The Vet Dr Mellies, brought me into the consult room and stated that Vanny needed emergency surgery today or she would die. I rushed her to the Crystal Lake emergency animal hospital. I stayed with Vanny untill almost midnight. She really looked terrible and I was very afraid I was gonna lose her.
The people at the clinic were very nice, very competent.I went home around midnight feeling crummy. As per my instructions, I was called every 2 hours for an update.Vanny came through the surgery just fine. They thought vanny had swallowed a foreign object but when they went in,all they found was blockage which was relieved.I paid the emergency hospital some 1700.00,my personel vet another 300.00. I needed 2 days off work to take care of my dog 500.00. if there IS something to these Greenies not being digestable,I would lke to know the process for a lawsuit. This was an awful experience to decide whether your family pet should live or die according to how much money one has, especially the days immediately following x-mas. If the company that makes these owns their product liability,I would like to know the process to recover my expenses, and the opportunity to express my displeasure with my circumstance

Art -
You said something in your title about 55 others - could you elaborate on this please? How did you hear about 55 other dogs having a problem with these things?
I'm so glad to hear your dog is going to be okay - I sure as heck will NOT buy these - I love my dogs and would be heartbroken if something happened to them.
Thanks for the info
