Saad's has a contract with United Healthcare for reimbursement at set amounts for specific products. My coverage is 90%. When ordering supplies 2 weeks ago, we were informed that in addition to the 10% there would be another $75 due in order for Saad's to not lose money on the prescribed name brand product. Another brand was offered, however, it was not comparable to the product that was being used. When we called United Healthcare to question this practice, we were told that not only was charging additional monies was not proper but we had met our out-of pocket in April and should not be paying the 10%. I demanded an immediate refund and did receive it. We had no supplies during a 5 day period of verification process with a suggested direct on-line supply company suggested by our United Healthcare Personal Health Care Support Nurse.
