A Safe Auto Insured Driver Rear Ended my vehicle Dead Center on the Freeway.  The Police Officer issued the driver of the other vehicle a ticket for failure to control speed.  Safe Auto determines that I am 20% then 10% liable because the driver of their insured vehicle said that I stopped.  The accident was at night in the rain and not well lite and the rear driver was roughly 100yds behind my vehicle when I slowed to avoid another vehicle.  The dead center rear impact is a clear indication the other driver was not paying attention and made no attempt to move to the left lane which was clear or slow down prior to me hearing their breaks lock up and then a thud at the back of my car making it a total loss.  My vehicle was not stopped on the interstate but moving slower than the rear vehicle which was likely speeding in rainy dark conditions.  The police officer issued the other driver a ticket for speed too fast for conditions and on the accident report marked that I had no improper action.  My back is now bothering me and their is no chance in h**l SafeAuto will ever take any responsibility.

In my opinion it is clear Safe Auto has a policy of inappropriately shifting a small 10-20% amount of liability to a driver not at fault in order to maximize their profit.  They understand that individuals are in a tight spot when their cars are totalled and they are not at fault so they trim off settlement money by improperly shifting liability.  These are nothing more than corporate thieves.

Advise for anyone in an accident with SAFE AUTO driver.  Go to the hospital and complain about everything and then hire a slip and fall lawyer to go after them in court for big money.  This company looks to scam money at every turn.
