Safe Harbor Public Adjusters of Illinois and its owner, Peter Meyers, have been holding me hostage since I signed a contract for them to fix my condo and work with my insurance company in October of 2022.

They have not only deceived me (first Contract they sent was when they were unlicensed) and acted unethically (according to the governing agency that approves public adjusters in IL), they have refused to respond to complaints I have filed with the Illinois Department of Insurance and through countless attempts by my attorney to find resolve.

Safe Harbor Public Adjusters have, essentially, held me hostage for over 8 months and refuse to remove themselves from the project due failure to perform so I can get my insurance company to cover the repair costs.

I have emails, texts, and video corroborating my case so this isn't a case of a consumer that just isn't happy with a contractor; rather, this is case of being deceived and egregiously lied to with intent to do so. 

I urge all consumers to look up 'Safe Harbor Public Adjusters Reviews" and "Safe Harbor Public Adjusters lawsuits" to better understand.  I've lost 50K of my own money and haven't been able to rent my unit for nearly a year because of this company and its shady owner. 

I feel sad for Peter Meyers who runs his life on lies and deceit and hope he turns things around to be a better person.
