I was a patient at this clinic and I had a horrible experience.  There were dogs barking the whole night, the pictures on the website are nothing like the actual facility.  Staff was uncaring and disorganized.  Food sucked.  I was promised there would be a chef and there was nobody to prepare healthy food.  Medical personnel was non existent.

My Daughter Received Excellent Treatment

This is to provide consumers who read the original complaint about Safe Haven Ibogaine Treatment Resort in Rosarito Beach, Mexico with another perspective.

My 20 year old daughter recently went to Safe Haven and we could not be happier with her experience and her outcome.  From the second we contacted the facility we were treated with care and professionalism.  The staff went above and beyond to give my daughter the utmost care, comfort, supervision, and medical monitoring.

My daughter went to Safe Haven for help with a meth addiction.  She called me when she arrived in San Diego and told me how wonderful the coordinator, Jessica Bennett, was.  She then called me when she got to the resort and exclaimed how clean it was and how friendly the staff seemed to be.  She has a special diet (she is vegan) and the staff went out of their way to provide her with the food she wanted.  She said it was delicious, fresh, and well-prepared.

When she received the Ibogaine treatment, my daughter tells me that she was well supervised and that the doctor (Dr. Silva) and nurses seemed very competent.  She noted that those who don't do well with the treatment are usually those who don't follow the rules and don't take the suggestions of the staff seriously.  My daughter did everything the staff suggested and had a very positive outcome.

The resort staff helped my daughter plan recreational activities, which she got as included in the cost of her stay.  She saw a movie, went to the beach, and had a lovely supervised trip to the markets in Tijuana.  One of the directors, Philipo, took her out to dinner one night and she said she had a wonderful time.  She also visited a spa and had a massage, which was included as well.

My daughter is home now and is like a different person.  She claims she is free of her meth cravings and feels like her world is set right.  She looks better, is very pleasant to be around, and seems just like she did before the addiction took hold of her.  She is happy, she's a healthy weight again, and she has re-engaged with life in general.

If you are a parent and are struggling with the decision to send your son or daughter to Safe Haven Ibogaine Resort, don't let the original complaint on this site deter you.  I can personally vouch for this program and its employees.  Yes, the cost is high, but the service and treatment are worth every penny.  I am absolutely convinced that my decision to send my daughter to Safe Haven saved her life and gave our beautiful girl back to us.
