Complaint Review: Safe Home Security

Safe Home Security promised a set rate for life and then they auto-renewed when I told them not to at higher rate and will not let me cancel with paying hundreds of dollars Cromwell Connecticut

I have never written a negative review about any company, but I find Safe Home Security to be a company to be a company that does not deliver on what it promises and makes it almost impossible to leave them with paying hundreds of dollars for services they will not deliver.  When I switched from ADT to Safe Home Security, their salesman offered me a great rate and promised that it would never increase.  That was a lie and when they increased my rate, I called them.  They refused to adjust to the promised rate and when I tried to cancel, I found out that they automatically renewed my contract at the higher rate and told me it would cost me $780 for services I would not be receiving to leave them.  Being that I did not want to pay for services I would not be using, I informed them that if I stayed with them I did not want them to automatically renew my contact.  They stated they could not stop the automatic renewal of my contact and if I wanted to cancel my contact I only had a few days during the month it expired to do so, or they would automatically renew it again.  To me a company that does this to their customers has not integrity and needs to be investigated.
