Safe National of America Hidden Charge St. Petersburg, Florida
I went to Safe National of America to purchase a laptop for my mother's birthday. I found the one I wanted which was a DELL for $450. However, when I brought it to the register they told me the price was actually $525. They explained that their technicians went into the laptop, removed any unnecessary software and got it running to PEAK performance and the cost for this additional service which I did not ask for is $75. "But the price said $450," said I. "I didn't see anything about an additional $75 charge." "Yes," came the reply. "If you would like a laptop that has not been serviced, you can go back to the computer department and ask the sales person to get you one, they are locked up." Now, why a BRAND NEW laptop needs to be serviced by their technicians is beyond me. But the fact that they tried to add this additional charge AT THE REGISTER and there was no sign or mention of it anywhere --the laptop was priced at $450. That is what the sign said on the display and that is what I expected to pay. Others should beware of this RIPOFF!!

I see you're back to plagiarizing old reports and reposting them-again!
This is a copy of a report filed against Best Buy in Novermber 2010. The ORIGINAL report can be read here: http://www.ripoffreport.com/computer-dealers/best-buy/best-buy-surprise-your-new-fafbf.htm
Why don't you tell us the REAL REASON that you're filing all these bogus reports? Why are you on this silly internet rampage?
If a "bogus" employee shows up with a rebuttal, the employee should explain why the SSL certificate for their website is EXPIRED and for another defunct website!
Such silliness and stupidity!
