Our car was vandalized on evening. The windshield was smashed. We called Safelite who came out 3 days later and replaced the windshield. When my wife got in the car the next day she noticed that shards of galss were all over the interior. She called Safelite. They told her to drive in and they would clean. They once gain did a poor job. She decided to take it to a car wash and have it cleaned. They vacuumed out all the glass. So far so good. They when they ran it through the car wash the dashboard sensors for the airbag and check engine went on and remained lit. The radio became staticky and stopped working. A couple days later the car began to stink. When we felt the carpet under the floor mats it was soaked and had a strong mildew smell. We called Safelite. They said bring it in and they'll check the windshield. Sure enough it leaks. They fixed it and cleaned the carpet. The smell remained and became stronger. We returned it. They said they would remove the carpet, have it professionally cleaned and reinstalled. We got the car back. They obviously did not remove the carpet but wet vacuumed it as it was wet. It now smelled like car freshener and mildew. The mildew smell has not subsided. They took the car back again and checked the windshield for leaks. No leaks. The smell remains. Their claims adjuster says that we must pay someone to remove the carpet and check it, and remove the sensors and check them and PROVE that they caused it. We are turning this over to our insurance agent for recovery of expenses and damages.

Went to the internet and researced the company. found out the CEO's name and took a stab a e-mailing him. Minutes later he responded. This was a Friday evening. Monday morning I was assured it would all be taken care of. By that Thursday I had my car back. All wiring replaced and new interior carpeting. SAFELITE honored their commitment.
