Complaint Review: Safely Walk In Tubs LLC.

As a salesman for this company, I was poorly trained. However, the company was very specific on what to say, how to close the sale, and to get a "turn-over call" on every presentation. When it came time to receive my first paycheck for commission, the company had problems "coming up with the money" as they told me. Four days late, they paid me the $1,065. I continued selling for them, and two weeks later, my commission was now at $2,650. The company again had problems paying and was 3 days late with it. This made me quit the company, only to be Begged back by the owners. I began looking into the company, and its' owners, only to discover a newspaper report about Chris Dhooghe from June 25, 2009. It can be found in Courthouse News-2009/06/25/Sweepstakes_Scam_Alleged_in_Kansas.htm. This report is detailing charges on a sweepstakes scam the Chris Dhooghe was convicted of running. 

By this time, I had built up $14,500 in what the company calls "back end commissions"- the commission I receive after the walk in tub is delivered, installed, and paid in full. However, I learned that my customers were being given a different product, of lesser quality, than what they were sold. In two cases, the customer was being asked to find, and pay for construction repair to their bathroom before the tub can be delivered. In both cases, this work was not needed. And, the company held sizable deposits from the customer.
