In May 2017 I was searching online to replace a pair of Josef Seibel sandals that were getting old but they were hard to find because it was a discountinued style.  I was happy to find them on a site called josefseibelstockists.com.  The website looked real and very professional and contained an excellent variety of josefseibel shoes in discontinued styles.  I assumed they specialized in selling old stock. The website allowed me to create a user account for tracking my orders.  It seemed normal with no red flags.

I ordered three pairs of Josef Seibel sandals for a total price of $157 US dollars.  I charged it to a credit card because PayPal was not available.   I received a confirmation email, from "Store Owner" of josefseibelstockists.com/  (no actual name provided), welcoming me to having the user account, telling me the benefits of having the user account, such as being able to share product reviews with their other customers, maintaining different shipping addresses for my convenience, and such.  The email also contained a contact email for me to use in case I ever had any questions or problems. The email stated:  "For help with any of our online services, please email the store-owner: sanaa@topfashionsale. com "

The same day that I placed my order I also received a second email, from  sanaa@topfashionsale. com, confirming the details of my order, correctly listing the 3 items I purchased.  The next day I received another email from them, confirming that my order had shipped out.  It informed me that the shipping service was EMS and gave me a tracking number so I could track it. It gave me the web address for the tracking as EMS ems.com.cn.    It also told me that the charge to my credit card would be under the seller name of   "FHT*AHOJIAN"    The BILLING COMPANY that was processing the payment for my order was service@safesslbillpay. com and the email instructed me to contact them for any billing questions.

This is where things began to be suspicious.  I tried to use the EMS tracking but it is available only if you have an account with EMS. To set up an account, you need an address that is within China or the online set up does not work. So I gave up.   Then a charge appeared on my credit card from AHOJIAN but it stated that it was for Automobile Parts and the charge was a different amount than what I thought it would be (less than $10 different, maybe due to exchange rate?) There is no notification when you order the product that you are ordering from China or that there will be any foreign exchange rate.  I contacted my credit card company and told them to place the charge under dispute until I found out what happened with my order.  I assumed the product was coming from a warehouse that also dealt with auto parts so I was not overly concerned yet.

About 10 days later a package arrived.  Here is exactly the shipper's address on package label

Zeng Qing Lin
{SGL-ZL} Room 301, No 6, South Street
Sha Yong BAIYUNQU Bay Yun Qui
GuangZhouShi GUANGDONG
phone YL008605046EU

The package said it was from China Post to United States Postal Service, it contained no indication that it had shipped from EMS.  What I received was a thin plastic bag taped closed containing one pair of shoes, with no receipt, no other internal packaging.  The product they sent me was a pair of shiny silver high platform sandals made by MBT for Liger.  They contained no manufacturer's tags. They were nothing like what I had ordered except for the size being correct.

Because I had ordered 3 pairs of shoes, I thought perhaps they got only one pair wrong, but maybe the other two pairs were being sent separately.  So I waited a bit before contacting them, so I could first see if my whole order would have any other mistakes, that way I could address it all at the same time.  No other shoes ever arrived.  When I checked my user account with josefseibelstockists, it had no info as to the status of the order.  I looked in the site for the return policy and they had one, but it required contacting them in advance to get approval for a return.  I used the "contact us" link in the site as instructed and told them about the mistake on my order and asking for assistance.  My request went no where and I never received a response.  Later, I sent an email directly to sanaa@topfashionsale. com, to ask for help with my order and they will not respond.

In June 2017 I placed another order. I didn't want to wait for a return or exchange to get worked out long distance with China.  So I placed a new order, this time for only 1 pair of sandals, the brown leather Josef Seibel sandals that I had been looking to replace initially.  I received the same pattern of responses for this new order, except this time they never sent me anything about the shipment being made by EMS.  The package arrived in about 10 days, with the exact same packaging and label as the first one, and this one contained a pair of purple and pink fake Nike sneakers that had a hole compartment dug into the interior footbed of one shoe, with a weird cover that was removable, hidden under a cushion liner, which looked like something someone created for smuggling. Nothing was in it, but it made the shoe unwearable because you could feel the compartment and its cover with your foot.  Again, the only thing correct about the order was that they sent my size !

At this point I am not even going to try to contact this fraudulent company for help.  I went to RipOff Report and saw two other reports regarding  service@safesslbillpay. com being involved in shipping fake wrong shoe products from China.

I hope someone investigates these people and shuts them down.  Josef Seibel is a very reputable company any they should know this scheme could be hurting their business.

There seems to be a number of websites related to this complaint. One is www.chuckdouros.com. The website is not secure when placing an order - it doesn't use SSL and the browser warns of this. I emailed the website and got a reply back from sanaa@topfashionsale.com stating:

"Hi friend:

Our website is 100% secure. The website is provided with an SSL encryption system to protect personal and payment data.

Best regards,
Yours sincerely"

This is obviously false - I work in the industry - but the emailer sanaa@topfashionsale.com wrongly insists it is secure. Doing a little more digging led me to this site and this compliant. I found other similar ones, basically all the merchandise sold is fake.
