I got a phone call from these SCAMMERS pretending to be my computer repair guy.   They even lied and said that they were with the company I always use.   When the $700 charge showed up on my credit card it said Safeware.   That's when I knew they duped me.    This guys are liars.  Lying about the name of the company is probably illegal.

I looked this company up and it wasn't easy to find them.  They have no website and I'm almost positive that when I call I reach someone's cell phone.   They tried to sell me software I already bought from my computer guy only a few weeks ago.   They got on my computer and deleted the software I paid for.  Then they sold me the same exact software IO already had and charged me double the price for it.   These guys are scum bags.

I used to be a journalist so I still have some knowledge on researching, but I will admit that the internet is a relatively new tool for me.    I found this company registered in Florida to John Humphreys and John Mrikin.   I also did some research on both of these owners and found that they have extensive arrest records and a history of rampant drug use.  I wouldn't be suprised if they are making these cold calls from a halfway house, the likes of which have been all over the news lately in florida where they are based.   It's no suprise this company is located in Delray Beach, which has been called the nation's drug rehab capital of the world.

If you get a call from this company hang up.  I wish I hung up and called my computer guy before paying them any money.  If they charge you, you can always call your bank and dispute the charge.  That's what I did and I got my money back.   I think the banks know they're a scam too.  I doubt they will be in business long conducting themselves like this.
