I arranged to have a car transported on 3/1/18 for the pick up dates of either 3/12 or 3/13 by giving a $100 deposit.  $500 door to door service.  I only had a 2 day window to do it, but Mike said he could do it.  I texted on the 11th to find out what time the pick up was- no response. On the 12th he texted and asked was the 14th okay.  I said fine, the 12th-14th were the absolute only days.  But I would lose the car if it didn't go by the 14th.  On the 13th, still no word about when pick up would happen. On the 14th Mike called to say it would get towed and stored over night so his driver could pick it up on the 15th.  So, the scheduled date of 3/12 or 3/13 wasn't happening until the 15th, not one of the dates he said he could do it.  This was his solution.  So I paid the tow truck $125.  I texted him and asked if my price then would be discounted $125 because I had to pay for his scheduling error.  He never responded. The car arrives at destination 3/17/18 $400 COD.  Whaaaat?  I called and texted him.  He said he can't read every text and didn't know that I had asked about the $125.  On the phone he pretty much yelled at me like I did something wrong, so I hung up.  He texted that he did the best he could.  Well, his best wasn't what he promised.  He also said he should have just cancelled on me.  
So, if you are okay with dates at Safeway Car Transports convenience, with extra fees tacked on because of their scheduling errors, lack of communication, and possibly being cancelled on, then this company is for you.
Oh, and I had to get in the car and roll it off with no power steering or brakes.  Door to door...ha!
