Complaint Review: Sahalie

Upon taking advantage of a small discount offered on an online purchase, I was surreptitiously enrolled by Sahalie in "Sahalie Rewards" and subsequently charged $14.95 per month on my credit card until I realized what was happening.

In checking out the problem I could not find any reference to "Sahalie Rewards" on the Sahalie website. Furthermore, I see no mention of it in the catalogue.

When I contacted the number (888-528-7245) by the charge on my credit card bill, Helen implied that "Sahalie Rewards" is a kind of a travel club. When I told her that I was not interested and had not realized that getting a small discount meant future billings of $14.95 per month, she quickly told me that she was authorized to give me credit for one month and terminate my membership. After pointing our that I had been billed for 2 months, not just one, she agreed to give me 2 months credit. Now we'll see if that really happens.

What a disappointment! This company has some very nice merchandise and now I don't feel that I can buy from it or recommend it to anyone.
