For the past 3 years I have been extremely unhappy with the quality of service from SAI security monitoring, now Castle Rock Security. Our system was down for a number of months, but there is no test signal sent, no one ever calls, and when you need to call them, you may be on hold for 90 minutes or more. And I paid $39.99 a month for 36 months for this.

I was so unhappy that I called twice to inquire about the expiration of my term of commitment. I was told that 5/22/09 was the end of 3 years, and that I could not cancel before then.

So, now on 5/7/09, I called to cancel and was never treated so rudely in my life. They have renewed my contract without my knowledge for another 12 months, and tell me that I have no other recourse. They say that you must notify them in writing 30 days before in order to cancel, or you arte stuck with another 12 months of rotten service. (I was told that you need to mail a letter with account #, etc at least 60 days in advance in order to be assured of cancellation. No one told me this when I previously inquired.

I want to be out from under this deceitful rip-off organization.
