The Saint Matthew's Churches (and the anonymous bishop) started to send me letters by September of last year. At the beginning it seems a legitimate catholic orthodox religious organization. They initiated their correspondence with me by introducing themselves as a caring church with a mission to pray for the most vital needs of our lives. And that those needs were positively and quickly answered by God (or Christ). According to them, that is possible because they are special people that are specially "anointed by God" to produce abundant blessings and miracles. A sort of intercession gift between people and God. I must admit that these scammers acted with me very tactful and artful. The first letters were full of religious literature with abundant biblical passages and some ojects of faith (blessed cross, cloth, etc.). Then gradually they proceed to send me more mail frecuently and up to include a booklel entitled, "The Seed Principle" which purports that God's divine "Seed Principle" governs our succes and prosperity. I read all the pamphlet and it seems fairly edited, tempting and appealing to the reader. Though I recognize that even a person with a strong faith in God could feel tempted to give it a try. Many statements in the content of that booklet as well as the pictorial part seem seductive but also somehow exaggerated and magical. After a while their consistent mailing made me to be taken in. I started to send some offerings (in M.O.) as they requested as a "holy requisite" for intercession favors before God. Those offerings were "the seeds" planted and that after a while of continual donation, it would eventually soon generate the expected "harvest", multiply it many times over (possibly a hundredfold). My experience with them started to get uneasy by instinct as they were bombarding me with more frecuent request for money every week or less. Then I realized that something was odd or wrong. As a matter of fact, later on, I realized that the real tricky business for them was to get "the seed" (the money) from the donnor which at the same time was their "harvest" in exchange for worthles papers and amulets ("objects of faith") - the practice of the false faith of "The Prosperity Gospel" - then when I enter the internet  and did a searching (something that I should have done before), and to my astonishment (chill my spine), according to many reports, I discover that the so called physical site of Saint Matthew's Churches didn't exist at all, it was a mere P.O. Box in Tulsa, Oklahoma!! The only physical buildings that are used as fronts like "Saint Matthew's Churches" are located in California and Texas. Then of course I stop immediately my mailing responds to them. But it was too late, somehow they swindled me with quite hundreds of dollars. Even though I don't respond to them anymore, they keep harassing and bombarding me with mail frecuently. OK, I admit, I feel ashamed about myself, particularly because I am a person with a higher education ( a university graduate), and besides with some basic knowledge about the Bible. But I never look into closer. Actually by the way, and in reference to this scam business, some detectives in Miami, Florida were perhaps motivated to start to investigate this person of interest (Mr. Eugene Erwing, the anonymous writer), who allegely is behind this dirty business of trying to distort, to discredit God, the Holy image of Christ, the Holy Spirit, sacred figures, symbols and the good faith and practice of people's christianity. The whole purpose of this cynical individual is to profit free of tax money from donnors in good faith, by distorting (taken out of context) the Bible and the making of the christian faith a mere fool doctrine before the eyes of society. I want to emphatically state that, I am not a fanatic of any religion and I respect all creeds, but even the secular world recognizes that this kind of "religious" persons are the worst kind of social parasites in the scale of human evolution on earth (scoundrels, low lives). I think that I have extended considerably over the above exposed topic, but I felt that it was necessary to do it. I am looking forward to hear from other people that have also been affected by this scam business of unscrupulous people. I hope that they would come forard to tell their stories, get organized and be ready to take legal action against that scheme organization. Also as my final point on this report is: what do the authorities have done to investigate this scheme issue since it started to florish? What pertinent legal measures they have taken so far to protect society against this sort of criminal scheme? Still waiting for positive solutions.
