SAIYO Neck hammock broke immediately. No response to repeated emails asking for a refund. Internet

I paid $44.94 in December 2017 for one neck hammock. It arrived in February (after a few emails from me to check on the status). It snapped/broke with a jolt as my fiance was using it for the first time, which was quite painful. He has spinal stenosis and degenerative cervical discs; I thought this would be helpful for when we travel and can't lug his traction machine with us.

I've sent multiple emails regarding this defective item, including filling out their online form, to request a refund. I have never received a response to any of them. The only name I have for anyone from this awful company is a customer rep who responded to my emails during the shipping process: Sarah J Moreno.
