Complaint Review: Sallie Mae

in 2006 I was on unemployment and contacted Sallie Mae immediately and filled out the online form, they called and told me that they had to email me another form to fill out and for me to send it back, I got no email after 3 or 4 more calls and my begging them to email me the paperwork I provided another email address just in case they could not get it through (even though I have received many emails from them at this address, again I spoke to them at least 4 more times begging them to email me the paperwork they always said they would and they did not, in June I was in a he, ad on collision and Sallie Mae becuase I did not sent back the form they never emailed to me defaulted my loan, I spoke to the collection agency explaining the I begged them to send me the forms I needed to fill out and they never did and that I had not defaulted on my loan and that they had granted me the unemployment deferrment but recended it when I did not send in the forms they did not send to me, I in June I was in a head on collision and the brake pedal went through my ankle and there was nother left, I have to pay for my own insurance which is 256 a month and 100.00 in prescriptions my copays are 30 per dr per visit,

Sallie mae is now garnishing my SSiD payments bringing my income down to 750 a month you do the math I have to pay rent utilities gas out of this money I have began having 104 temperatures started at once a month and now every 3 days they dont know what is wrong and I cant afford to go to the doctors to find out, the fusion on my ankle did not take so now I am looking at maybe an amputation I cant afford to go to drs but will scrape to see this month if we will do another fusion or if they have to amputate, the letters that they were going to garnish my SSI were sent to an unknown address so I had no notice I have written letters to Sallie Mae with no response but what did I expect, I believe they purposely do not send the paperwork so they can fraudulently default on the loans when people are down and out so they can make things worse, these are the worst people that I have ever encountered in my life.

My propfession prior to this was a paralegal and I am always very diligent about following through, I begged them to send me the paperwork which by the way is not available online or through any other means but through them sending them to you so they can easily cause people to default fraudulently, thanks for listening
