Complaint Review: Salt River Solar & Wind

Here's a few things that may be helpful when dealing with salt river solar & wind.

Since their contractor license # 254115 is now suspended with the AROC as of 10/1/12 & I have a prepaid 20 yr. solar lease agreement I am very concerned about the warranty on the system for the remainder of the lease.

I contacted legal shield & they told me the AZROC has a recovery fund & told me to contact them so I talked with an inspector & asked whether my contract is voided now since the contractor lic. 254115 is now suspended & he said "maybe"

Found out that AROC has a 30k recovery fund available within a 2 yr. time frame..

I further asked if SRSW could have their AZ contractor lic. 254115 reinstated in the future & he said maybe.

My suggestion is see if SRSW will honor the warranty stated in the contract. If they don't then I would contact Az registrar of contractors..

They also have a new contractor lic. which is  279301 with eco-1 exteriors & deveron group & those licensed were current as of 5/12.

If you contact the deveron ph. no. they answer with SRSW.

I believe in justice for all & not letting anyone getting by with any unsavory practices at the publics expense.

They already have. Deveron is on the license for Eco-1 Exteriors. Deveron has the same management team as Salt River Solar.

Don't know what will happen with Salt River Solar & wind since I noticed online on the AZ registrar of contractors license has been suspended & not sure how this will affect my 20 yr. solar lease contract with SRSW.

Also showing that the bond has been cancelled. Currently showing this as of 10/2/12.

I will be contacting Legal Shield about this situation since this contractor lic. no. was used on my solar lease agreement & do not know what will happen in regards to warranty etc. on solar inverter, equipment during this 20 yr. lease.

SRSW could be starting another business name & another business license with AROC in the future.
The AROC shows several SUSPENDED az. contractors license under their name & only one currently showing CURRENT.

Don't know what this means for me but will definitely be finding out & anyone that has a solar lease with the above mentioned ROC license #254115 might want to look into this too.

Go to the BBB website & check out the F rating given by the BBB... From an A rating to a F rating in months....

Wow...according to the BBB negative customer they send a letter  to a customer after the customer spent 8k  in 10/11 & were told by SRSW they are out of money( the co. should of returned the customers money when they knew they were running out of money.) & that is considered breach of contract.

If this happens to other customers my advice is file a complaint online with registrar of contractors. & if money was paid by credit card you can call the credit card co. & dispute the charges & can money back even if there is a bankruptcy but there is a time frame so a person should contact your credit card as soon as possible.

also, my advice is only pay with credit card co. incase a co. tries to screw over their customers & you can dispute charges by talking with the dispute dept. I do  not want anything to happen to customers that happened to me because it is wrong & unethical behavior.

My suggestion is to FIGHT for all your money because no one  can or will but you.

Good luck in fighting & get back what is being taken from you because it is your money & you have a contract that they have to fulfill their obligations or pay the consequences. Read your contact & fight for every nickel  that is do you.

Why should any co. be able to take money that is yours? If you defaulted on the contract you would lose all your money.

I had read some complaints but none of them had to do with breaching the contract or changing the contract.

 My complaints had to do with the majority owner trying to breach the contract several times & trying to get me to pay the aps rebate if aps refused which was never in my contract.

To bad this customer did not read the other customers previous complaints on this site before he hired and contracted this company. Had he come here first he could have saved himself a headache. Nothing new in his complaint . Salt River Solar has no customer relations dept. And projects take ten plus months to complete.

I want to document that my pv install is now completed.

Overall it was a horrendous experience due to that I had to threaten repeatedly that I would file a complaint with  the AZ REGISTERSTAR OF CONTRACTORS because   of the majority owner M. Fricker stating his intent to default on the contract numerous times (on the BBB customer review on 2/22/12 & emails that were sent to me ) & also during the solar install they stopped the installation of the system after the tracking was installed.

I also had to make them repair my roof tiles after install.

This co. should not type up  contracts & then offer it to the public to buy or lease their product if they are not intending to fulfill their contractual agreement which is a legally binding agreement.

This co. alledgedly as a 4 million lawsuit that was filed in 2011 due to fraud &  the majority M. Fricker name is mentioned  in  the news article which anyone can read by googling it.

Now I have a 20 yr. solar lease agreement with this co. & I intend to ensure that the contract be abided by during that time & that any warranty that is under the contract is fulfilled by this co.

If not, I will keep posting the problems with ripoff report, BBB ( by filing NEGATIVE customer reviews) & will file a complaint with the AZ Registrar of Contractors in the 20 yr. time if it becomes necessary.

I will never let this company that has  a business license off the hook in fulfilling their obligation to me.

My hope is that no customer now & in the future will allow this business  to get by with things that are not right & fight for your rights because no one else will & if you fail to do this the co. will continue to mistreat the customers the way they attempted to do with me.

The bottom line this co. & M. Fricker has failed in all his devious attempts  to defraud me in all the above referenced reports that I filed.

And I will give notice that anymore future attempts to NOT to fulfill the contractually legally binding agreement in the 20 year. solar lease will fail because I will fight for what is right for however long it takes in the 20yrs.  because wrong unethical behavior  towards me will not be tolerated.

In closing my suggestion is to go with a co. that does not attempt to mistreat their customers or try to defraud them every step of the way which was my experience.

THIS WEEK AFTER CONTACTING MAJORITY OWNER MIKE FRICKER TO COMPLY WITH THE 20 YR. SOLAR LEASE AGREEMENT OR I WOULD HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE REGISTAR OF CONTRACTORS FOR ABANDONMENT OF PROJECT.

FINALLY THE WEEK OF 3/11/12 HE AGREED TO COMPLETE PROJECT IN REPLIES TO MY EMAIL BUT THEN STATED HE WOULD DO PROJECT  ONLY IF I WOULD PAY THE APS REBATE IF APS DOESN'T SINCE MY SYSTEM IS OVER 125% THAT APS USUALLY APPROVES.

SALT RIVER SOLAR & WIND & APS HAD ALREADY AGREED TO THE CONTRACT CHANGES FOR THE BIGGER SYSTEM ON 11/23/11 SO SRSW HAD WRITTEN CONTRACT CHANGES & ME & CO. ENTERED INTO THIS LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT IN 11/11 SO ESSENTIALLY IT WOULD SEEM HE WAS LOOKING TO POSSIBLY  GETTING PAID DOUBLE FOR REBATES WHICH WOULD BE  IN THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS SINCE I HAVE HAD AN APS REBATE RESERVATION SINCE 11/16/11.

THE SAD THING IS I WOULD NOT PUT NOTHING PAST WHAT HE MIGHT ATTEMPT TO DO.
BECAUSE THE EXCUSES & THREATS TO STOP PROJECT CONTINUE BUT HE MAINTAINS HE WILL DO PROJECT.

THEN WHY DOES HE KEEP MENTIONING THAT HE WILL STOP PROJECT IF SOMETHING WAS TO HAPPEN.

I THINK THE THING HE WANTS TO MANUFACTURE THIS SITUATION WITH HIM & HIS CREW SO THEN HE  THINKS HE WILL BE OFF THE HOOK IN REGARDS TO A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT.

MY ADVICE STOP WITH THE THREATS TO WALK OFF THE PROJECT BECAUSE LIKE I STATED I WILL NOT BE HOME FOR THE INSTALL AT ALL WHEN THE INSTALLERS WILL BE AT MY HOUSE SO NOW YOU CANNOT USE THAT EXCUSE.


HE KEEPS ON MENTIONING  THAT IF I MADE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE INSTALLATION CREW HE WOULD STOP WORKING ON THE PROJECT & TOLD ME I COULD MAKE AS MANY COMPLAINTS AS I WANTED.

I CONTACTED THE AZ. REGISTAR OF CONTRACTORS & THEY STATED THAT  IT WOULD STILL BE JOB ABANDONMENT & I COULD FILE A COMPLAINT & IF THEY DIDN'T COMPLY THEY COULD BE FINED OR BE IN JEOPARDY IN LOSING THEIR LICENSE.

MR. FRICKER CONTINUES TO LOOK FOR A MULTITUDE OF REASONS NOT TO COMPLY TO A  LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT.

FOR THE RECORD I NEVER SAID I WOULD EVEN BE THERE TO TALK TO INSTALLERS &( THERE WOULD BE NO REASON TO TALK THEM AT ALL) & AS OF 3/15/12 I  EMAILED MIKE FRICKER THAT I WOULD NOT BE HOME AT ALL DURING THE  ENTIRE INSTALLATION DUE TO WORK CONSIDERATIONS.

MR.FRICKER KEEPS ON WRITING EMAILS TO SHOW HE IS REALLY ANGRY & WRITING SOME UGLY DEMEANING  REMARKS TO ME FOR NO REASON EXCEPT THAT APPARENTLY HE IS ANGRY THAT IT IS ALMOST A CERTAINLY THAT HE WOULD LOSE WITH THE AZ REGISTAR OF CONTRACTORRS IF A COMPLAINT WAS FILED.

HE WROTE ME AN EMAIL CALLING THEM THREATS.

THEY'RE NOT THREATS AT ALL. ALL I WANT IS MY JOB TO GO FORTH & COMPLETED.
AND I DON'T WANT REPEATED & MADE UP THINGS JUST SO HE THINKS THE CO. CAN NOT INSTALL THE PROJECT.

HE CLAIMS I AM UNHAPPY PERSON.  NOT AT ALL.
HE JUST DOESN'T LIKE IT BECAUSE I AM PREPARED TO FIGHT FOR MY RIGHTS & WILL NOT COWER TO HIM.

SO FAR EVERY STEP OF THE WAY HE HAS SHOWN A WILLINGNESS TO DEFAULT & BREACH THE CONTRACT FOR WHATEVER REASON HE CAN CAN DREAM UP.

HE TRIED TO LECTURE ME THAT I DID NOT CARE ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES OF MY ACTIONS & THAT IS PURE STUPIDITY SINCE I AM THE ONE WHO HAS PAID OVER 4500. ALMOST 4 MO'S AGO & THE PLANS ARE NOW BEING DRAWN UP FOR APPROVAL.

 I WAS GIVEN PLANS THAT SHOWED A 8KW SYSTEM WHEN MY CONTRACT IS FOR A 9.165 SYSTEM .

IN CLOSING HE IS THE ONE WHO DOES NOT CARE IF HIS ACTIONS ARE AGAINST THE AROC IF HE DOES NOT FULFILL THE CONTRACT BUT EVERY STEP OF THE WAY  SO FAR IT HAS BEEN A BUNCH OF REASONS WHY HE WILL NOT PROCEED WITH THE PROJECT EVEN THOUGH HE SAYS HE WILL BE HAPPY TO DO THE PROJECT.

IF SO STOP WITH ALL THE UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT & FULFILL THE 20 YR. LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT.

BUT THE AMAZING THING THAT SRSW CLAIMS SATISFACTION GUARANTEED ON THEIR WEBSITE & WRITES IT ON THE TEN REASONS TO CHOOSE SRSW.

IT ACTUALLY WOULD BE BETTER  TO  STATE TEN REASONS WHY YOU WILL GET EXCUSES & THREATS NOT TO FINISH THE PROJECT IF THEY DECIDE THEY DO NOT WANT TO HONOR THE CONTRACT.

THIS CO. SHOULD STOP MAKING CONTRACTS WITH CUSTOMERS IF THEY DO NOT WANT TO ACT IN GOOD FAITH & COMPLY WITH THEIR LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT.

STOP BLAMING ME OR MAKING EXCUSES TO ME FOR YOUR MISCONDUCT THAT YOU HAVE DONE IN REGARDS TO MY SITUATION.

AND IT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL TO BOTH PARTIES IF YOU MAINTAINED A PROFESSIONAL MANNER & CONDUCTED YOURSELF AS SUCH.
