Complaint Review: Salvotori

Pulled up in a rental car, asked if i could speak italian, I told him i could not and he asked me for directions to the airport.

I told him how to get there with the help of the map in his rental. He told me i was very nice to help him and he would like to help me out.

Said he works supplying Brown Thomas with Armani Jackets and that he had to return to Italy and didnt want to pay taxes on them to bring them back.

A few alarm bells rang, It was in Dundrum, thats south of brown thomas, which is south of the airport, It would have been easier for him to stay somewhere more central.

2. You dont pay taxes on anything transited from one european country to another. Its free trade, can buy what you want and bring it home with you, with the exception of Alcohol and Cigs.

3. It seemed too good to be true..

He offered me 2 free leather jackets, if i bought a brown suede one from him. He explained how they would retail for 800 euro each roughly.

He seemed very genuine, but i was sure it was a ripoff, so backed down, but on the way home i thought "maybe he was just an honest guy" searched on here and found out he does this thing quite a lot.

He was in Dublin trying to sell the armani jackets from the rental car about an hour ago. He has his head shaved now, and he told me his name was salvatori.
