Complaint Review: Salvatore Chirco

Employeer, Partner, Client, Beware of Sal Chirco!  The man that seems to be harmless, so nice, caring and dedicated to his family is a total and absolute Scam! 

Having known Sal before he moved to Arizona from Michigan I offered him a job with my commercial general contracting company when he was down on his luck and working for a company that was going out of business any day.  (according to him at the time, which was probably a lie to get me to feel sorry for him).

I took him in as a project manager and he began working doing a good job on the projects he was working on when he actually was working for me.  7 months into working for me and my company through some suspicious behavior I discovered that Sal wasn't only working for me.  He was working for 2 other companies as well for the last 3 months!  I was paying for his salary, gas, cell phone and any other misc. expenses during this entire time!  In the last two months with me he racked up $8,000 in home depot bills and maxed my card, only to give it back to me saying that the card is maxed but here is a $134 dollar credit from some material he returned.  Priceless!   

For 4 months it turned out that he was working on the side for one other company and started a company of his own doing construction projects in the Phoenix Area.  Meanwhile our company was bidding jobs but oddly enough we were being considered for many projects and then when we would hand him the projectst to follow up on them we were never getting any of them.......the final straw was when we were ready to sign a contract on a job with Arizona State University through a client I had secured a relationship with.  As multiple versions of the contract were going back and forth all of a sudden the dialougue and communication stopped.  When I called the client directly he told me that Sal had told them that my company was going bankrupt and we were not capable of doing the work.  He recommended that they use another company that he was going to work for on the project since he had been involved with them from day one (he so easliy forgot who introduced him to them and allowed him to follow up on the project as a true project manager should). 

I approached him on the subject a few days later and he confessed to working for other companies, and attempting to steal this project from my company!

Having treated him like family, let him into my house, console him and let him stay at my house when he found out his wife was cheating on him with another man. He had the nerve to backstab me so easily. 

After further investigation and talking to old partners and friends of Sal I had come to find out that I wasn't the only one he has screwed over.  He has done this same scheme many times. 

Talking to an ex-partner of his he told me stories of how while owning and operating cooper ridge homes in phoenix, az. Sal was building houses through Cooper ridge homes and formed another company Cooper Mountain Homes.  This company was used to build homes and charge the labor and material towards the other company which he was partners in.  Basically charging the bills onto one company while taking the profits on another company he funneled the money into. Eventually the partners discovered his scheme but were so shocked that he could do such a thing as he had been so close to their family, almost to the point that he was almost chosen to be the Godfather to his partners newborn son.  To top it off he borrowed $35,000 from his partners mother and never paid her back! 

The list goes on with Scams and shady activity Sal Chirco has been involved in and be sure he will get very close to you, tell you every time he sees you "I love you Cuz!" and how much he appreciates everything you have done for him and as soon as he sees an opportunity to screw you and move himself ahead he will take the chance with no disregard or remorse. 

It is estimated that he funneled or stole over $100,000 in money and profits from our company for just the little that we know of.  Every man has his day and the honest and trustworthy people of this world should beward of this pathetic man. 

I have never met a person who could so easily LIE about everything and get away with it.  Don't fall for the charm and smoothness of this guy........if he doesn't want something from you he wouldn't be trying so hard to be so nice.  In the end he will screw you one way or another. 

It has happened time and time again and as his scams and tricks had caught up with him in Michigan he had to move to Arizona.  When I always asked him if he'd ever move back to Michigan he always told me "I cannot go back to Michigan"  now I know why...........he pulled one too many scams and screwed over one to many people and now he cannot go back there to face them. 

I hope this is seen by anyone doing business with him or considering doing business with him and you seriously think long and hard about what an unethical, and horrible person he is and at what point will he screw you.....because one way or another he will!  Its in his nature! 

To make matters even worse.....Sal is not even a stranger to me.  He is FAMILY!  He is my wife's cousin and I have known him for years!  So if this is what he can do to a relative.....imagine what he can do to a stranger! 

If for any reason you may feel this is untrue.......I have a recorded confession from Sal on how he Stole from me and my company along with admitting to working for two other companies at the same time!  I would be more than happy to share it with anyone interested.
